The product range includes solutions made from HAKAMID® fabrics in various versions, weights, and weaves with or without lamination, viscose fabrics, and Hakowool fabrics. Our knits and fabrics are used for vests, shirts, coats, and suits. These protective garments are ideal for industrial applications, such as foundries, as well as for fire brigades, the military, and sports. They guarantee reliable protection and are designed for the toughest conditions.
Protective cuffs for gloves and clothing
Our protective cuffs made from HAKANIT® knits are specifically designed for demanding applications and extreme conditions, such as those in the glass industry, fire brigade, and army. These cuffs serve as arm guards for gloves or clothing and offer excellent protection against abrasion, tearing, and puncture. Additionally, they provide very good cut resistance. Our standard HAKANIT® knitted fabrics are primarily tested and certified according to EN 388.
Protective gloves
HKO protective gloves can be made from a variety of high-quality technical textiles, including SILONTEX® fabrics, THERMO E-glass fabrics with high-temperature finishes, HAKANIT® knits, and HAKAMID® fabrics in various versions, weights, and weaves. Additionally, we offer HAKAMID® fabrics with lamination, viscose fabrics with and without lamination, as well as coated HAKAMID® fabrics and HAKANIT® knits. Different types of gloves can be manufactured depending on the application area, such as mittens. These protective gloves are ideal for use in industry, fire brigades, the army, and sports.
Protective trousers
Our HAKAMID® fabrics, both with and without lamination, viscose fabrics, and Hakowool fabrics are characterized by their robustness and soft feel. We offer various models, such as bib trousers. They provide protection against liquid metal splashes, convective heat, radiant heat, and contact heat, making them perfect for use in industry, such as foundries, as well as for fire brigades and the military. Standard HAKAMID® fabrics are tested and certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612.
Protective gaiters and shoes
Gaiters and shoes for the protection of people in industrial sectors and for the fire brigade, army, and sports must be able to withstand extreme conditions in the worst-case scenario. Therefore, we also use our reliable HAKAMID® fabrics and HAKANIT® knits for this application area, which are available in different versions, weights, and weaves and can be laminated depending on the application area. As boots, shoe covers, cuffs, or gaiters, the fabrics or knits protect against heat/fire or offer high abrasion and cut resistance, depending on the application.
