Die-cut parts from needle mats and stitch-bonded mats

Individual requirements in the automotive and industrial sectors often demand special solutions. HKO's portfolio includes custom die-cut parts that can be precisely integrated into the respective application area, providing protection as a suitable assembly component of parts. It is possible to equip the die-cut parts with laminations or coatings to specifically increase heat resistance where temperature differences or thermal processes exist. A combination with finished fabrics and needle felts is also easily possible, enhancing stability and tensile strength.

Needle mats, even in custom die-cut form, offer excellent vibration resistance. This is an advantage over rigid, hard heat protection materials, especially in demanding environments – the die-cut part not only insulates but also helps to mitigate shocks and vibrations in the application area. Additionally, die-cut parts made from glass fibers provide good acoustic absorption in noisy processes, contributing to the reduction of noise and vibration sounds.
